Did you know? St. Patrick’s Day honors St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, who lived during the 5th century! 🕊️ He’s credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland and using the shamrock ☘️ to explain the Holy Trinity.
The holiday started as a religious feast day in the 17th century, but over time, it’s grown into a worldwide celebration of Irish culture, complete with parades, music, and, of course, a bit of green everywhere! 🇮🇪
